The program caters for students who wish to study the application of electronics, electricity and magnetism as well as the equipment for the generation and distribution of electricity. The field goes on to the manufacture and repair of electrical gadgets like computers, control systems and generators.
Certificates are awarded by the Department of Higher Education & Training (QCTO). You can not obtain your diploma without completing both your theoretical modules and your practical’s logbook assessment. External examinations are administered by the Department of Higher Education & Training (UMALUSI & QCTO). The examinations are National Examinations. Certificates are awarded by the Department of Higher Education & Training (UMALUSI & QCTO). A student will only be allowed to write the final examinations upon successful completion of all assignments, assessments and 80% class attendance.
Courses Curriculum
The programme is completed over a minimum period of two years, with each level taking at least three months. Students can choose between full-time and part-time study.
